Imagine

Imagine there's no heaven,
It's easy if you try,
No hell below us,
Above us only sky,
Imagine all the people
living for today...

Imagine there's no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...

Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say Im a dreamer,
but Im not the only one,
I hope some day you'll join us,
And the world will live as one.

Which brings me to all of the Christian infighting. When you hear the entire story about John's "infamous quote" about the Beatles and Christ, you realize he was misinterpreted. If you're lucky enough to see the film footage of the press conference in Chicago (the first after that remark hit the American press), you can see it in his body language, too.

And his killer feels that he should be allowed unsupervised visits.

If you don't have a reason to die for, or a reason to kill....do you really have a reason to live?

btw, Afghanistan is not in Arabia.

Well, I hope the second part (above) isn't true.

I hope the whole thing isn't true. I think that saying is too intense.

I'm still pondering it....if you don't have anything that you would "take a bullet for" then what is it you? Nothing important, at least not that important. But what if what you do is important? Is it important enough for you to get out of bed every day and go do? If so, would you die for that something?

Its all very heavy.

Hey, if I was living in Afghanistan, I would get the hell out. I'll convert to scientology if need be. Though the German won't let me in and the Australian would put me in a camp in Indonesia.
