I go to OSU here are the results...
Hey ladies!! During winter quarter we got a total of 10 girls and 2 snaps, making it 12 for that quarter. Spring quarter we got 5 more wonderful AOIIs! Due to all the "crap" that happened with formal recruitment last time, OSU has decided to totally change the way in which we do recruitment. We will now be starting in the fall when everyone gets back to school and going all the way until January. This was developed by a small house on campus that was fed up (just like we are) with only a few houses getting total while everyone else suffered. Therefore, they are putting this "new" recruitment into play starting this coming fall quarter. Hopefully it will work and raise numbers!! Additionally, we graduated 17 seniors (me being one of them) and really want to get to total some day... hopefully this next year. If you all have any other questions about the crazyness that is OSU greek life feel free to ask at anytime. Hope this clears some stuff up!
P.S. Originally quota WAS set at 17 but that was never put into play and a house went ahead and took 25. The majority of houses at OSU don't make quota and that is a huge reason why everything is being changed.

Hi AOIIgrl22 (whoever you are!)
Ohio State is starting Freshman recruitment in the fall? Will they be able to pledge then, or still wait until January? Let's hope this new model benefits all of the women considering sorority membership at OSU and balances the sorority membership numbers there.
Can't wait to see what happens next.

By the way, this is the first Spring recruitment for sororities at the University of Colorado, mandated after the problems recently between the administration and Greek organizations over alcohol abuse.
Also, there is an article in the Duke Chronicle about the recruitment results. I can't get the actual link to work, but it is posted in another thread. I think it was lovely for the writer to highlight AOII's results not only for this year, but last year also. http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...68#post1173468

Wow - Chi Delta - that brings back memories - some of us from my chapter from Kearney (Phi Sigma) went out there when they recolonized in 1980 - I think. It was an amazing experience - beautiful house - we lived in a dorm, so this was quite a step up at the time. I was used to rushing farm girls from Nebraska (no offense - I am a farm mom now, raising my own farm girls, LOL) and was rushing girls from California, Hawaii, New York, etc. It was a unique experience to rush like that - knew nothing about Colorado or the chapter. How did they end up doing?

What am I going to do when I see the finished product? Cry like a baby, of course. The bigger question is--how much longer until I get to see pictures? Furnished, unfurnished, I want to see!
Make sure the CB buys the nice fluffy tissues with lotion, I don't want to look like Rudolph when I finally get there!
Oh, happy day.
