Here , here.... it's good that someone brought up the "classic" definition of an American 'liberal'...

But I do have have to agree with Coramoor, in that I do find the fringe 'liberals' an embarassment to the name.

Actually, it's not so much a classic definition of liberals, as much as it's a way liberals describe themselves in speeches.

The fringe extremists are embarassments period, on either side of the coin. I actually have to agree with you on that one.
