I think that tech. everyone "rushs" in the Winter (January/Feb) but because most schools call it Spring Semester, most of us refer to rush as a spring thing. At least that is why GtownC calls it Spring Recruitment.

I am looking forward to the threads this year. I think that this will be the first year that I am not as "involved" as I have been in the past... due to location and jobs. So if anyone is rushing at GC, don't worry about posting. I think that I am the only one from there on here anymore and I won't let anything on here get back to anyone there. I don't mean be evil or anything but you don't have to hide all aspects of the parties or anything. I know that there might be one or two PNMs on here. Also I will answer any questions about recruitment but not about the individual groups (ie Chapel Day = Bid Day, Do I need a white dress for Chapel Day? Answer... No)

PM me anytime!

One of my friends on my floor is currently going through IFC rush right now...I'm not sure if this counts as Winter or Fall.

There is only 1 out of the 3 frats that are on campus that he is intrested in...it's a good frat on campus and has a chapter at the campus I was initiated at, so I wish him all the best.

I wish I was able to convince my sister to go through rush

almost time

For me to become addicted. I have been out of college for 4 years but still love it when recruitment comes around. Although now all of my connections to the chapter have graduated so finding out how everything ends up will be harder. Can't wait to read everyone's stories!!!!

OK, I am very "pro" spring recruitment. UNA has fall recruitment and that is ok but I can only imagine how the sisterhood works out with spring recruitment.

With the new short pledgeships and the grades already in for spring recruitment that must make for a much better GLO GPA.

Also, and I know it is because my chapter had to do it a few times when I was in school, but I love continuous recruitment aka open rush. I mean, then the girls that come to the parties know that they are, more then likely, interested in joining and the sisters that invite the girls, be it personal or written panhellenic are definately interested in the pms.

Also as an advisor now, a spring recruitment would, hopefully, keep the sisters in the recruitment mood all semester, knowing that pms are on campus and watching every move they make.

SO SPRING RECRUITERS and pm's have a great time.

what are PNMs?
What are they supposed to do to rush?
What's the difference between formal and informal rush?

And where should I ask these questions?
