I was so excited to quit my hellish nightmare kind of job recently as well. Last Friday was my last day. And I absolutely love my new job, so good riddance to the old bad jobs I say  .

It sucks that they let you go early. A lot of companies do that nowadays.
I take it you didn't have another job lined up? Best of luck finding something new - hope your interview goes well.

No, I didn't have anything else lined up. I just got fed up with all the bullshit that goes on within the company. I have a TON of connections because of the area I worked in so I'll probably have a job by tomorrow afternoon, lol.

I quit my job at the end of August..I was getting really burned out and needed a break. I didn't have anything lined up, because in nursing, it's easy to get another job when you want one. I've really enjoyed being a unemployed sponge-took 2 vacations, worked out every day, shopped occasionally-however, I'm getting the distinct feeling from the husband that my free ride has just ended...

Unfortunately, I work for myself.
I quit, I dont eat. But thats pretty much the same with anybody....

If I had enough $ saved up, I'd quit my job. It's so hard to find a job in my city, though, and I'm stuck here til I go to grad school next year...
