			Ok?  A "service" based fraternity still lends itself to giving the members a social group.  They do a lot of stuff together that other fraternities do (i.e. mixers sometimes, homecoming, greek week).  Their focus is just more on doing the community service and not on partying as much or having a house.

 |  Maybe it just depends on the campus.  Some groups that are made for service party just as much, if not more than some of the other groups, just because the rules governing the service group is much looser than on the social groups.

			IU used to have a coed social fraternity called Alpha Theta Tau when I was there in the early-mid 90s. One of my APO brothers was also in that. I went to a couple AT&T (as we called them) parties but I don't know too much about them other than that.
