I'm guessing for just a lot of little things in general. The only thing I can really think of would be the whole lying to the people about WMD but that would be almost impossible to prove (even though I'm sure half of congress and the country believe it to be true, heck I do).
Hey if they can try to impeach Clinton for having an extramarital affair (which was none of our damn business in the first place, I don't care where it happened, it had nothing to do with the decisions he made as president), then I'm sure they could try with Bush b/c some of his presidential decisions have been less than "smart" (I guess you could say).
FYI on the whole Clinton impeachment. I only really remember the deal with Monica, which happened right around the impeachment time. I honestly don't remember everything else that happened. But IMPO they went after him b/c of the affair and they justified it with Whitewater. But this thread isn't about Clinton so don't jump on me for getting the impeachment facts wrong, I'm just making the point that if they (Congress) can try to impeach Clinton then they could definately try to impeach Bush. Not that I see in happening b/c you really have to get a majority of Congress that wants to do this.

I don't think he can be for this. One can only wish, though. Sad, but when he won the last election, after looking at that silly smirk on his face, I remember saying - he's in for another 4 yrs and is thinking "I don't have to do a thing...."

Actually President Clinton was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice.

Right, you beat me to it. Lot's of presidents have had affairs, they just didn't lie about them under oath.

I think this is so true. I was talking to one of my friends who had fought in Iraq about the situation with Katrina -- he is convinced that the fact that our troops are spread so thin over there is one of the reasons that we couldn't restore order faster in New Orleans. I wouldn't be surprised if this were true for things other than our soldiers as well.
Add me to the list of people who has never understood the Bush appeal (as a person, sure, maybe, but as a president?) -- but that's not really a surprise to anyone at this point.

Yup.
Now, if people want to argue that Whitewater Investigation investigated the wrong items, that would be another debate.

Voters support Bush for many reasons.
Reading this thread is a good example of the first reason - Democrats are so stupid (ie thinking Clinton was impeached for having sex).
The second reason is that while the "Buck stops here" mentality is good and great, it's not reality. Clinton cut the FEMA budget repeatedly. Is he being questioned on that? No. It's actually quite funny how Bill Clinton is repeatedly being seen at the side of George Bush.
The third reason is the other alternatives. Where are they? Who are they? Who were they? It's funny how the DNC and all political consultants came to the conclusion that they have no leaders who have the ability to inspire and connect with a people, but the mobs and masses of Democrats still can't think through that.
We voted for Bush because he was the best option. It's that simple. We didn't vote for him because we loved him. Nobody considers him to be incredibly intelligent or capable. Ask Carville. The proof is out there - he is our president because he was the best option.

Well said - Clinton even admitted as much during one of the post-hurricane press conferences, but none of the questioners pursued the FEMA issue further.
I voted for Bush because he was the best option, and the only candidate I could support in any way. It's as simple as that.

I didn't feel that way, and I didn't vote for him, so speak for yourself. I personally think my dog is a better option.

He was speaking for himself and for the Bush voters out there. I don't think he was trying to speak for anyone else.

I am a Bush supporter and this is actually one of the main areas that I DO NOT support him in. Just thought I would throw that in there.
Rudey, I think you make very good points.

Dude if Airbud can play basketball anything is possible.
If her dog is really smarter than Bush, then I will assinate that k-9 for all its worth.
can you imagine the press conference?
"President Dog, why do you continue to send troops to Iraq?"
president dog, " RUFF RUFF RUFF RUFF RUFF!! RRRRRRRRRUFF . and furthermore RUFF RUFF RUFF RUFF!!!!!!!!! "
"President Dog, if you can say 'and furthermore' why did you continue to speak in Dog? Why not finish in normal talk"
president dog, " RUFF RUFF RUFF RUFF! RUFF YOU, you MOTHERFUFFER! I will Ruffin RUFF you UP!"
*president dog runs over and attacks the reporter, but not before it humps Clintons leg. President Dog finally stops humping once John Kerry rubs President Dogs stomach.*
