My ex was such an asshole/superficial jerk...he said that when he worked at A&F someone asked him why they didn't carry sizes 14 and up and he told them that if they wanted those sizes they'd have to go to Lane Bryant. He was legitimately shocked that someone would think they carried "those" sizes.

Like A+F, I love their polo shirts, but I wouldn't touch anything else in there with a 10 foot pole.

A&F sizes are also teeny tiny. I wear small or medium shirts from everywhere else. In there, I'm like a large, which at times is snug on me.

I hate these skirts! They only look good on a handful of women. They even look horrible on little girls who can usually pull off crapy like this.

If there is one fashion trend that must die it is the ruffled mini.

I don't understand this trend either. it's a full skirt but it's a mini... so you look like you have a massive hip region and then your ass hangs out. How flattering.

A+F you have to buy bigger sizes anyway because they all shrink to even SMALL after you buy them.

My friend worked at Hollister for a while and always made fun of her manager. Appearantly he was total dumb surfer type "dude" who talked kinda slow and was always saying stuff like" re-mem-ber, you must always promote the California,Hollister life style"

I must admit I own one piece of clothing from Hollister. It is a pink hoodie that says California on it. I really like it .

I don't know why they named the store after such a umm... shall we say "quaint" town, Hollister is in the middle of nowhere.

AMEN! No matter your age or size, if you are pass the 8th grade, you really shouldn't be wearing that.

I don't like Hollister or AF. If you any kind of curve (I'm not even talking being larger than a 14 or anything like that), the clothes are not made for you. Because I am a dd, if I were to buy a shirt at AF in my size, I would look like a Hooter's waitress (no offense to any Hooter's girls here ) My shirt would look like it was holding on for dear life.

YES! THE SHORT RUFFLED SKIRT TREND MUST DIE!!!!

Now ifonly we could convince the rest of the female population of this. To me it just looks juvenile and not cute at all...it makes you look like a poodle, or a flamenco dancer.

I remember during easter mass, this 12 year old girl sitting beside me in the pew nealt down to pray...and her short ruffled skirt didn't even cover her bum! The worst thing is that her little sister was wearing the same one...and their mother and father were right beside them!!! I'm sorry, but your behind should not be showing ANYWHERE, let alone in church, let alone on EASTER.

I have a couple pairs of sweatpants from there and one shirt. 2 of the pairs of sweatpants I absolutely LOVED b/c they were long enough and so comfortable, and we're halfway down my ass. Unfortunately the other 3 all shrunk and now I can just wear them around the house

The shirt was made of really crappy material.

I don't own anything else from there nor do I feel the need to.

And I agree, ruffled minis must die. Your ass is not a cupcake.

My mom is from California, and she said the exact same thing the first time I took her in a Hollister store.

Hollister really hasn't picked up around here, which is a very good thing.
