Sorry not to post this in the "Highs and Lows" thread, but I am just too excited not to spread the news this way. After 4 years of dating, Jeremy finally proposed tonight! He totally had me fooled, too. I thought he was going to visit a friend, but really he was off buying my ring. I was cooking dinner in the kitchen and came out to the living room to sit while it was cooking. My cat walked across the couch to sit on my lap, and the ring was on his collar. Next thing I knew Jeremy was down on one knee.
Here is a picture that doesn't do the ring justice.
It's a .5 carat with round and bagette diamonds in the channel.
So, the big day is July 15, 2006. I'm sure you'll all hear plenty about it as the time draws near.
