Psychic Reading

Some co-workers of mine and I had a few psychic parties, where we hung out and socialized at someone's house while taking turns at getting readings. If you look at it purely as entertainment, it's fun. We all compared things they said and laughed about most things. Very few will tell you anything bad.

There was one though.. he'd had a closed head injury and after the injury, he had these abilities. He worked with a local police department helping to solve crimes too. He was EERILY on target with a whole lot of things. He liked to have pictures or jewelry of people to get impressions from. I took a picture of my first husband and one of my mom. When he looked at my ex-husband's picture, he said "I hope you never have contact with this person again because he will hurt you. He is very scary". I didn't give him any indication that he was my ex-husband or anything. And, he was right, the guy was scary and probably would've hurt me if I'd ever been alone with him after I filed for divorce. He looked at my mom's picture and said "I'm sorry she's sick. It's emphysema and it will be a long haul for her". She wasn't on oxygen then and didn't look sick at all in the picture. The picture was from my brother's wedding and she looked fantastic. That was eerie. He also taped the whole session. He said that I was going to meet a man who was surrounded by money, probably an accountant (my second husband) and would have two kids with him, a girl first, then a boy (which I did). He also said that I was going to have a serious illness in my abdomen. I was 26 back then and scoffed at that! At age 38, diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. I didn't think about it at all until I found that tape recently and listened to it. He wasn't vague like most are, he was very specific with ages that I would do things and, well, I'm sure my face drained when he said my mom had emphysema. That seemed too close. I wouldn't go back to him, because it made me nervous that he was so on target. I really just wanted it to be entertaining. I don't think I'd go to one again! Not one I thought was any good anyway..lol.

This is the very reason my mom will chew my arse out for even thinking of doing this!

Actually one day while I was walking down pier 39 a psychic approached me and began telling me some stuff, for the life of me I can't remember the rest of the crap she said... but one of the things she said was two people who were jealous of me and "blackening my aura" or something like that. Of course for a fee she would work with me to get rid of this negative "jealous energy" Weirder yet a few weeks later I was at the mall and another random psychic told me the same thing. I'm sure It was a spiel, and I don't really believe in that stuff, but it was odd.
