It seems to be about a 2 size difference. If a woman wears a size 8 women's shoe, she would probably wear a size 6 young men/men's shoe.

I know how hard it is to find shoes in larger sizes. I wear a size 11. (and no laughing at that please. the whole having a big foot thing just happens when you're 6ft tall). And yes, many places and designers stop at size 10. Its quite annoying. However, people are starting to carry larger sizes now. Cook and Love is a good one to check out.
