I just have one thing to say...
Up here in the Central Region, the relationship between Kappas and Rhos could be better, but I think we're improving. After the joint convention we did in April, things started to pick up. All the Kappas said they had a good time kickin' it with the Rhos, and vice versa.
So, I think it's all good up here. Most of my boyz here, and ones that I've met abroad call me Soror, and I just love it.
MandingoNupe--I've always had too much luv for you, and Kuntraversy from Beta Zeta??? That's Alabama State right?? My good friend who is Polemarch of a grad chapter up here is from the Beta Zeta Chapter...so much luv to you, too!! :8)
Just my $19.22.
Yours in Greekdom,
Tre

I like your humor. As stated earlier, I think the region plays a great role in the sister/brother relationship. But I prefer an Alpha Man, me being a Delta.

You all are too funny! I think Greek Affliations plays little to no part in who you should choose to date. I think that the "bonds" that you all are speaking of will vary from campus to campus more so than region to region and even depending on who is there. Shoot, on my campus, we didn't have Sigmas...so first we were tight with the Nupes, then we were tight with Alphas...we did joint programs together with both...There was no "bond" stated or implied...but to outsiders, they might think there was one there. So, with that being said, I guess it might be easy to say you have "whatever" love, especially given a historical background for it.

You know, I didn't experience this until I went to NY 2 yrs ago. We were leaving a family party when a young lady came up to my husband and went "Hi Frat!" (he had on letters, I didn't). He inquired about her sorority and she was actually my soror, which was where he directed her. He wasn't trying to be rude, but neither of us had heard of that before. Down here, the affiliations are pretty traditional also.
