That is the million dollar question. Invading a country will always result in unseen repercussion. I just hope that your client's organization is nothing like challabi's organization.

No. They would not welcome an invasion. You guys just don't understand.

Iran's government will not change and the No Mullah Left Behind Act ensures that.

Well, he's a very moral man, at least if you look at the success he's had over here and the way that he conducts his life. Also, he makes frequent trips home, so it's not like he's an outlaw.

The feeling that I get is that Iran is very much like America is right now -- split into two major factions that don't have a whole lot of middle ground.

Prior to the Iraq invasion there were high hopes that an invasion would change things in Iran but right now with everything going on over there, peole have lost faith that the US invasion would change much. The Iranian people may be oppressed and hate their government but they will take what they see as the lesser of two evils. Historically, Iran has been a country that has been invaded time and time again, patriotism begins to increase (the Mullahs will have a hand in this as well) and the people will band together against the invading third party.

Some of the Mullahs do fear that they will be thrown out. Through the grapevine I've heard of Mullah's who have sent their wives and families overseas to Europe and Canada and made sure their money is protected so if in the offchance they have to flee they wont lose a cent.
