1. Drop the weight I gained post surgery
2. Start running again/train for a triathalon
3. Join a gym I can actually attend
4. Figure out what I'm going to be when I grow up
5. Along with #4, find a job with nice health benefits and a great prescription plan (with all my asthma meds, I need a good once since I get kicked off my mom's this year)
6. Spend my last summer before I truly become an adult at the beach. Preferably not working. I've had enough of working at the beach.

1) Go to the gym 4 days a week (trying to avoid rush hour traffic AND have more energy)
2) Be productive at work
3) Eliminate the bad 4-letter words from my vocabulary
ETA 4) Get involved with my community and make new friends

I have a bunch...
1. Get into better health (better diet, regular exercise)
2. Get my career more firmly established
3. Earn an IT certification
4. Go through all the cr@p from my childhood that my parents made me take out of their house and that is currently cluttering my basement instead of theirs
5. Finally finish that %!@($& cross stitch I've been working on for the past 3 years (!)
Happy New Year!

NEW YEAR'S DAY
Now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions. Next week you can begin paving hell with them as usual. Yesterday, everybody smoked his last cigar, took his last drink, and swore his last oath. To-day, we are a pious and exemplary community. Thirty days from now, we shall have cast our reformation to the winds and gone to cutting our ancient short comings considerably shorter than ever. We shall also reflect pleasantly upon how we did the same old thing last year about this time. However, go in, community. New Year's is a harmless annual institution, of no particular use to anybody save as a scapegoat for promiscuous drunks, and friendly calls, and humbug resolutions, and we wish you to enjoy it with a looseness suited to the greatness of the occasion.
