CBS must be really behind. It still said Bush had 108 and Kerry, 77 last I checked.

With 5% of the vote in Ohio in...Bush is leading by 5%.

But there's still 95% to go.

I've been changing back and forth and it seems that NBC has the most accurate up to date coverage.

You want to see "behind" - check out nytimes.com - they are being very cagey.

My guess is non swing states will be called within 30-45 minutes of poll closings. Swing states, maybe 1.5hrs.
Okay, I need to ask you - have you ever worked the polls? Because the vast number of absentee ballots and the possibility of thousands of provisional ballots is going to make the entire process a new ballgame.

I once heard the district that I was working called when we hadn't even opened the absentee ballots yet! These may be somewhat educated guesses, but obviously, the operative word is guess!!

Utah goes Bush. 5EV

Penn, Ohio, Florida still undecided.
Maine: 3Kerry, 1undecided.

Bush 175
Kerry 112

Close race between Daschle and Thune. Here are some numbers I thought were interesting.

90% of people who thought religous faith was the most important quality in a president voted for Thune while only 14% of people who thought intelligence was the most important quality voted for Thune. 86% of people who thought intelligence was the most important voted for Daschle, and not surpsingly 90% voted for Daschle that thought change was the most important.

17% of precincts reporting votes by county voter survey results

Daschle 32,569 51%
Thune 31,485 49%

Still oh so close.
