NBC was calling results in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky and Vermont less than 5 minutes after the polls closed. That's ridiculously fast IMHO.

Well hell, I don't know...that's just what they said on TV. Let's not shoot the messenger. Anyone care to confirm this---?

IowaStatePhiPsi 11-02-2004 08:31 PM

NC, VA and SC too close to call, but polls closed

The New York Times isn't calling anything so far in the Presidential race.

Here's a confusing report on the outcome of Georgia's Senate race:

Georgia Reporting: 0.1%
Denise Majette, Dem 689 (54.1%)
* Johnny Isakson, Rep 581 (45.6%)
Allen Buckley, Lib 3 (0.2%)

Hardly any precincts have reported, Isakson is only at 45.6%, and they're already calling it for Isakson?? :confused:
