Why take them out when they're not causing any problems?
Well, I figured the same thing b/c I knew they were there but they weren't bothering me until I went to the dentist & he discovered that they had caused ulcers to develop in the far back of my mouth by where they were. I didn't feel the ulcers either. He removed my wisdom teeth & then saw that the ulcers were infected. It was really gross but I'm glad I did it otherwise who knows what could have happened with those infected ulcers.

I had my taken out in high school. The bottom ones were coming in sideways (towards my front teeth) and really hurt because all those were being pushed together. I had all taken out and they knocked me out. It was wonderful. Took me about a week to et better because of the amount done to the bottom, but the drugs were nice.
Yeah, definitely consult with your dentist. My mom never had hers taken out.

My bottom ones are doing the same thing, but it's not hurting yet. They haven't wrecked my dental work yet, either. Getting all four yanked Dec. 20th...yuck.

They told me that mine would come in and undo the orthodontic work. But, no. They slid in perfectly, and my smile is basically the same.

Neither one of my parents had to get theirs out, however, I got my teeth x-rayed the other week and I had some. They arn't causing problems (yet) however, I would probably never get them taken out, even if they did bother me. I have panic attacks with most forms of medical care (other than taking asprin).

Yeah, mine didn't hurt either but the dentist was "concerned". Good luck with it! One of my sisters had hers out over the weekend. :-( Only one had to be cut out, which is good.

Honestly, it's not terrible Just have Mr. Madly stock up on ice cream and Jell-O and fill your Percoset prescription. You'll be fine

Had mine out earlier this year; it wasn't bad at all. A couple who I'm friendly with and did some work for are both dentists, so they got me in quickly for an evaluation. They recommended someone who ended up being really good; I had two out, it wasn't bad at all.

My boss grew up in the town my parents moved to, so she gave me the name of a dentist to visit and from there I'll discuss wisdom teeth removal and such.
Good thing: I can lounge at my parents' house while I recover
Bad thing: I might have to wait until Tgiving or Xmas time to get them out
