That would send huge alarms of "Momma's Boy!!!!!!!!" to me... it would make me run.

Then again, I'm way older than you.

Things which are totally acceptable to use as bait for girls:

- mommies -- but you can't be over the top about it. You've gotta come off as loving your mom and being respectful without being a momma's boy.
- puppies (there was this one guy with the cutest puppy ever who used to walk it up and down Greek Row to get sorority girls -- it worked)
- babies, as long as they're not your own. It takes a certain kind of guy to pull this off, but if they can they're nothing cuter.

Hey, if the girls are silly enough to fall for it, it's not your fault if you take advantage.

Yeah, there's a VERY definite line between a healthy mother-son relationship and an unhealthy one...

Healthy: She loves and trusts his judgement and treats him like a man

Unhealthy: He will always be "her little boy" and NO WOMAN can take care of him...

Healthy: Brags about him no matter what and always takes his side; she is his advocate...but when together, offers her opinions, but doesn't give him the cold shoulder if he doesn't agree...She acknowledges that he has his own mind and that she armed him with good decision making skills

Unhealthy: Will agree with relatives IN FRONT OF HER SON when they say to him that he's gained weight, could have a better job, etc. because she feels she needs even MORE leverage and more backup for her daily passive aggressive comments

Healthy: He waxes nostalgic about times as a kid and times with you and loves all those times equally

Unhealthy: Compares his time with you to his time with his mommy and makes comments like "That's not how my mom does it..."

Healthy: Son to you: "Honey, what do you think?"

Unhealthy: Son to you :"Well, my mom doesn't think it's a good idea..."

Feel free to add more!!!!!!!!!!!
