I have a purse-looking toolbox and a hammer with a painted handle. I don't really need power tools here, but like Rudith, I did take shop, and my favorite power tools included the orbital sander and the bigass lathes.

This is a collection of must-haves.

There is even one named after Decadence.

Dremel is good stuff. I've thought about getting one, but I don't really need it. If I get into wood working, I'll definitely get one.

What type of sander do you have?

I'm a craftsman woman myself-must haves include a CORDLESS Drill and circular saw set, and I paint the handles hot pink so the boys know they are MINE! I have a matching hot-pink tool belt with my craftsman basics (hammer, phillips-head,cordless hand sander, measuring tape) and hot-pink edged safety glasses. I dipped the handles of the basic tools in hot-pink paint too.

Before I colored everything pink, my hubby would borrow and things wouldn't be where I needed them when I needed them.

Heat Guns

Anyone have a heat gun?

I need one for shrinkwrap tubing.

I only buy power tools that come with their own cases, so this is knocking out several models from consideration.

I would like an LCD or LED readout, but this seems to only be available in models over $100.

I'm not going to remove paint, or anything else that needs it to hit 1,500º

I have only bought contractor grade tools, but it looks like I'm going to make an exception to keep the cost down.

After consideration, I'm leaning to the Black & Decker HG1000K

It lists for $55. It can be had on eBay for $30.

Does anyone have experience with this model, or any others?
