Wow yall, thanks so much for your support and encouragement! I'm glad yall like my Texas theme.

I actually have a question for everyone. Should I wear hose underneath any skirts that I wear during recruitment? I'm not sure if this is a custom at UT or not, but the thought crossed my mind today so I thought it would be a good idea to ask.

Thanks again for everyone's positive comments!!

my personal opinion....would be no. others may think differently, but being from texas and knowing the heat, i would say no. maybe on pref night, but i don't think it is necessary the other days.

just my opinion

One of my best friends was an AXiD at UT!! I've visited the ADPi house there a couple of times, and they are so sweet, there are a couple of them from Corpus! OH!! And the greek advisor there is awesome!! She used to be a TCC (Traveling Chapter Consultant) for ADPi when I was a collegiate and she stayed with me. I hope you find a great home in a fabulous greek system!! Any house on that campus would be spectacular to join!
Oh funny story.......not 100% sure if it's true, but OH WELL, it's FUNNY!! This guy at UT was invited to the Kite and Key formal (not sure if it was by a Kappa or Theta) and his date for some reason couldn't go last minute, but he already had a tux........so he asked a friend of his to crash the party with him.............she was neither a Kappa or a Theta!! So they went and had fun and all the Kappas thought she was a Theta, all the Thetas thought she was a Kappa. HAHA that's funny...........probably not 100% true..............

Just to let yall know - I realize that a lot of people read these boards and that not everyone who reads is registered (I was an exlurker!). I would really, really like to keep an anonymous status. So from time to time, I might change a few details about myself, my day, or some other random thing. Hopefully I can keep my true identity a secret I also know that UT's recruitment is highly competitive but I've been getting ready for awhile now.
You are very wise and understanding! Best of luck to you as you find the house of your dreams!

I'll be using a texas theme to identify the sororities (aka all the names are texas state symbols, things associated with texas, etc). And here they are in absolutely no particular order:

Bluebonnet
Longhorn
Mockingbird
Lonestar
Armadillo
Cactus
Jalapeno
Pecan
Chili
Rodeo
Bluetopaz
Alamo
Cowgirl
Friendship
This native Texan ADORES your choice of symbols!
