I apologize if this post is in the wrong spot. But I figured since the discussion was about asking information on the internet, then, I could post here.

Okay, what if someone came on the internet and expressed interest in your sorority. They basically said, "I aspire to become an AKA." They told you what STATE they lived in and what COLLEGE they planned to attend. Then, the only questions that they ever asked were: "What inspired you to become an AKA?" and "What are the positive and negative aspects of your sorority, in your opinion?" They never got too personal. How would you handle this person?

We don't know. All we know is she wants to ask us some questions about MIP. Oh and that my original response to her was rude and unprofessional. Oh, and that she has already asked other members, but she wants a second opinion. Cuz we're, like, doctors now.

The net just showed up last month and just last week GC became the first message board. While the structure of this AKA forum (which is the only forum you see once you get to GC) is so confusing, they know how to post messages and send pm's. Now you also want them to do a search????

Also, what sense does it make to get in contact with members of the chapter interests are trying to join???? If I was an interest, why would I bother with members in person, I'm not really trying to become an AKA. I'd be content with my associations on message boards. I mean how else do you get online.

For real, ya'll are being a tad bit ridiculous.

If you are interested in any of the Fab Four, please do the following:
1. your homework
2. your research
3. your homework
4. your research

If a person is interested in an org, why would she ask the opinion of people on the net, who are ALWAYS who they say they are ? Wouldn't the best people who could tell an interest about the chapter be people who are IN THAT CHAPTER??!! I mean, come on.....
