Clinton

The Nixon funeral was apparently "non-partisan" because Clinton spoke (as all sitting Presidents have done before him), He's not in office now, He has no reason to speak.

If Nancy Reagan wants to have a purple dinosaur give the eulogy - it's up to her, b/c Reagan was.............you guessed it...............HER Husband.

He works out of Harlem? I thought I remembered reading that Clinton took offices in some post midtown office building after he left office?

Okay, I will agree that Drudge is not the most credible, but that's just the first thing that popped up when I was trying to get an internet artical about the funeral. I've heard from several other credible newsources like Sean Hannity, and fox news, that Clinton is angry about not being asked to speak at the funeral. Of course he is! He's got a book coming out, and his wife wants to be President, and his only legacy is sexual acts with at fat chick in the oval office.

He took the Harlem office after the midtown office had a rent close to 800K and the Harlem office was about 1/3-1/4 of that. It was a big scandal. He's never in that office anyway and he's part of the gentrification movement that pushes blacks out of the area - the same blacks he says he's friends of.

Why do I doubt the veracity of this story?

You know, I don't know why there is so much animosity in these discussions.

I caught a part of George H.W. and Barbara Bush on Larry King last night and he was saying what a nice conversation he, George W. and Bill Clinton had at the opening of the World War II Memorial recently. They just talked about general stuff and some old anecdotes.

Former Presidents of the United States are perhaps the smallest "fraternity" in the world -- and they always seem to value each other views and advice -- no matter which party they represent. That is especially true in times of crisis.

All of the rhetoric during the campaigns is pretty much that. Don't you ever wonder why, as soon as the election is over, usually everyone congratulates everyone else and the Republic goes on?

It's because, in the end, we're a whole lot more alike than different.

Finally, to end my little tirade, I find it disgusting that even the death of a great leader becomes grounds for attacking other leaders and contenders. I think that dilutes all of the good things and memories of the deceased.

For people like Drudge, Limbaugh, and the "liberal" guy (Rall(?), I've never even heard of him) are comtemptable for using this occassion for either political purposes -- or to simply advance their own agenda.

Woah, munckin, you sure showed me! Because I am young, I now retract all my statements on politics and will go back to watching the MTV and slacking. We would hate to have young people in America who try to be informed and involved in politics.

There's a difference between being informed and being polemical. You show no real knowledge of the American political process, and it just seems like you are supporting the GOP 'cause someone told you to or 'cause it's cool in your frat.

If this is true, Clinton's being absolutely ridiculous. I would say the same if it was the other way around and Bush the Elder was pitching a bitch about not speaking at Clinton's funeral.
And ditto!

So, out of curiousity, where else has anyone seen this alleged story? I haven't seen it anywhere, and it isn't on Drudge's page today.

As near as I can tell, this guy is full of...half truths and innuendo.

With the exception of Monica, what other success has he had?

Enlighten me.

This is a joke.
