Legally Blonde: The TV Show

Oh yep AlphaFrog I agree. I'd never thought about her taking on the role, the MisMatch (think that was title) role she had is a cut above a series directly based on a film like this. I probably just wanted to hear her name pass my lips after reminded of her via this thread.

Ok...my dumb@$$ now understands...I thought that you were suggesting her for the role...and actually she wouldn't be a bad choice and people could see her as a rich soroity girl...I think she would fill Reese's shoes only slightly uncomfortably...but no way she ever would agree...

ETA: Bonus points for Alicia because besides being blonde she looks nothing like Reese...I think that was another of Clueless's problems...it was almost like they thought they could just slip in a look-a-like (which I'm sure is what this series is going to go for) and no one would know the difference, whereas Sarah M-G looked nothing like the original Buffy, again letting them get further away from the movie to form their own plot...

actually I could see Alicia Silverstone doing the role and being good at it. IMPO.

This show, Legally Blonde, will not last for more than a season. The Clueless tv series stinked. Rachel Blanchard cannot act at all. As a matter of fact, she is the worst actress of all time. (No offense to Taualumna and Lady Pi Phi, our Canadian members)

I don't really like Rachel Blanchard all that much either. I find her character on 7th Heaven kind of annoying and whiney.

I'm not a Rachel Blanchard fan myself (I don't think she's the worst actress of all time though). But obviously Clueless had a fan base or it wouldn't have lasted. I think you'll find the same thing with a Legally Blonde series. You'll probably have a pre-teen/early teen fan base that will keep the show going and it will go the way of Clueless. Think NBC saturday morning shows.
