Yes, I was just curious. Didn't mean to offend.

When I said the thing about making Greeks look bad, I didn't say anyone DID; I said it the REASON for having the false letters was so you could get away with flaming, then that's not cool. And ONLY if. I didn't say there was anything wrong with the letters. If it's fun for the people with them, then that's cool with me, I just wish people wouldn't be so quick to assume what I meant.

Sorry you read it that way, but that was NOT my intentions. When I say "here's a thought", I mean just that. Stan said that maybe people used the fake letters so they could get away with saying mean stuff, and I was pointing out that...oh hell, what's the point. No matter what I say, I think GCers will think differently. *sigh*

My point? Yes, I was just curious, and I didn't say the fake letters were wrong. Only if they are used so ppl can flame others. THAT'S ALL.

Coming from a person who was curious about the same issue, but didn't care enough to ask....I think you have a right to ask. You shouldn't have to appologize. People are just being defensive.
