You are welcome! We ALWAYS have some guests...just because the food and stories are so good! Reunions are taken VERY seriously down here..and especially in my family...There are arranged tours of family sites, sometimes a hike, and neat trivia contests.

Has anyone ever attended a "Decoration Day"? Decoration Day is the first weekend in May, and all of the family goes into the "old" (think Revolutionary War soldiers) cemetary to decorate the tombstones, hear a small memorial, and EAT excellent food in the cemetary!

dude, I LOVE family reunions man.

reasons why they are good

1) i have family and cousins EVERYWHERE...and we will go to anywhere from New York, Dallas, LA (my hood), Pearl City (Hawaii), Minnesota, Vegas

2) we are all from different backgrounds, so we get the best of hawaiin food, vietnamese food, filipino food, mexican food, peruvian food

3) i have alot of cousins my age, so its fun to chill....or i have cousins much older than me and they always offer me great advice or...they will look at me and remember how i was such a awesome baby...or look at me and i will remind them of their crazy party days...

reasons why they are bad

1) gotta travel so far
2) sometimes, you see a hot chick and it turns out to be your distant cousin (that is one of the ultimate cockblocks)
3) you might get into a fist fight with your sigma nu cousin!
