Tony's too 'old school' Mafioso... he'd burn in hell rather than sell out his mob family and cut off the steady source of illicit income.

Betcha there is gonna be a mob war of the intensity of the Castellamarese mob war of the 1930s in this season finale between Tony's family and Johnny Sack's.

Tony B gets whacked. Not by Philly, but by Tony S. Tony tips off Johnny Sack after he deals with Tony B, and Philly is pissed off to no end that he didn't have the chance to whack him. It's all a thing about Tony dealing with his personal family problems, to the detriment of his Mafia family.

Tony's crew is starting to get ants in the pants... they're beginning to second-guess and question the authority of the boss... a sure sign that the boss's days may be numbered. Tony goes ballistic over Paulie's keeping of that oil painting of Tony and the horse Pie-Oh-My (from Season 4) after he instructs Paulie to destroy the painting.

Tony goes for a face-to-face meeting with Johnny Sack, which is rudely interrupted by the FBI. Tony escapes on foot with the Feds on his heels. (Needless to say, Johnny Sack is REALLY thinking Tony sicked the Feds on him. Doesn't look very promising for Our Favorite Mafioso in the sixth and final season of The Sopranos.)

I really think Tony's going to get whacked in the final season.

Methinks you're right... pissing off a New York mob family is no way to keep yours, Tony... and that's if you don't piss off your own family any further! Plus his credibility is already tainted by running in the face of the enemy (the Feds).

I could really see Johnny thinking he was set up by Tony.

hey--
do you guys know if they are gonna run the 5th season of the show on reruns on HBO?...I've unfortunately missed it because I didn't get HBO in my dorm and then I didnt have it at home. Of course, my mom just got it a few days ago, after the season is over....so I was kinda hoping that HBO might play it in reruns? probably not? lemme know!

PS: my mom totally called the Adriana dying thing...I guess Adriana is on the new "Joey" (like from FRIENDS) show

What they have done in the past is run all the previous seasons, sequentially, to end just before the new season starts. Given that, it may be a year before they re-run Season 5.

Gosh I miss this show when it's not on!

I was watching "Best Week Ever" on VH1 and they said that the final 10 episodes of the Sopranos won't be shown until 2006!!
