No joke, it feels like I started getting excited for this one 10 years ago... At least it is coming up though.

The thing about this directors movies though, is that they aren't traditionally scary. It is hard to explain, they just feel awry the whole way through... I like them though... The are very dark.

I'm pretty juiced for this movie this weekend. I love getting the chills in the theater and well, the things in the red cloaks do it to me even in the commercial. who else is checking this one out on friday?

OMG words cannot explain how exicted I am to see this -- I don't even know why bc it's really just a movie. Could be all the promos that they've put all over town -- seems like no matter where I go there they are.

Anyway -- I'll def. be seeing it this weekend. And I managed to go all this time w/out having it spoiled for me.

(yay)

See, i'm so the type of person that if i'm going to go see a thriller i HAVE to know what's going to happen or else i will have the worst time, like with sixth sense and signs (which i didn't really like, the resolution with Joaquin Phoenix was too cheesy)...i'm going to have to have someone tell me what the big secret is or i'll drive everyone in the theater nuts

As the plan stands right now....that would be me with some friends

I am NOT a "scary movie" girl. Give me a romantic comedy, a kids movie, or a drama anyday over something that may freak me out (which is pretty simple to do....any movie that has suspense/psychological thrillers always creep me out, and then I overanalyze and don't sleep well after seeing it!)

I don't think so, but could just be me.

In either case, I LOVED this movie. I thought it was well acted and the premises were well constructed.

Bryce Dallas Howard was really amazing, I can't believe that she hasn't been in more films.

I won't write more so not to spoil the film for others, but I recommend that everyone see this.

My husband and I are going to see this tonight. I'm very excited.

I've come up with my own conclusion about the ending....if it's going to be anything like his previous movies I already have a good idea of where it's headed...and if I'm right then I'll be able to handle it.

That, and I can only handle so much suspense if I don't know what's going on. I think I might have to spoil the fun and search online for some spoilers.

It's not getting that great of reviews. And reviews are hinting at the ending that is surprise (aren't they usually) but the audience may care less. I may see it this weekend.

I'll see it this weekend. I just hope he breaks from his formula . . . you know:

1. A Significant color.

2. A twisty ending.

not this time. apparently the big color is red and everyone is talking about the 'surprise' ending

although it looks like yellow has significance too. maybe?
