I have gotten into collecting pins. I guess that it happened when King Antonio started making our school an annual stop on his fiesta tours and I got several leof those over the years. Rey Feo made it last year too. The DRT have really cool ones. I've got last year's and this years. I am trying to get them for the events that I go to and this year, I'm making it to alot!! Might need to invest in a sash before next Fiesta.

I'm hoping that it doesn't rain on our parades, hee hee, friday and saturday. I might have found a place for some tickets for sat. We shall see.

Gonna go to King William on sat also.

Lifesaver, where did you find those coronation pictures and article? Didn't see themin the paper.

Happy Fiestaing!!

No, this is why you should hate us... Were going to Battle of Flowers together. Gonna hang out in the VIP section. WORD. Might have to walk down the block for a beer or two... Still have two tickets available if anyone out there in GC land is interested....

If I would have known that you had two extra tickets, I would have gotten them. However, I've been busy fiesting and visiting my best friend's new baby. I went to King William and Flambeau on Sat. I"m very sad now b/c Fiesta 2004 is over. Fiesta 2005 starts on April 15. Can't wait!

Yeah, I heard someone say that after paying for those dresses, a wedding wouldn't be that bad!! The dresses are all done by hand plus the girls all have tons of parties during Fiesta. Lots more $$$. But on flip flops for the parade, less than 10 bucks!! Amazing! You know that King Antonio and the president of the Fiesta Commission, the order of alamo queen and a dutchess are all in the same family. For such a big city, it's just a few families involved. Amazing again!

I hope you all had fun during Fiesta, I sure as hell did!!

Fiesta rocked! Battle of Flowers was cool, and props to Adrianna, as she held out in the drizzle and light rain for the whole thing. If she tells you that we got all the way downtown when I remembered the tickets were back at my pad she's lying. I remembered I forgott them right before we got into downtown.

It was cool. Went to reckless Kelly on friday night so I was too hungover for King William Fair. Am really bummed out by that. Had a blast tho. Saw parts of Flambeau from the hotel we were at for Formal. Downtown was crammed with people! My secret desire is to one day be a member of the Texas Cavilers. Dont think I have the kinda cash or family background those fellas are looking for. Its THE old boys network of SA.

I've never been into collecting them, but this one looked really cool and I had to have it.
Orden des Deutschen Adlers - "Order of the German Eagles".

What I'd give to go back to SA and Fiesta! Dallas (aka the Southern Bab-tist Vatican (hehe...)) doesn't know how to f*ckin' party!

It RAINED at the Battle of Flowers parade -- it didn't drizzle! It was a good time though. My first ever, but definitely not my last.

Oh, and that guy from U of H did end up being my friend from H.S. Rad tad.

My girls are good to go.

I am NOT a hardcore band critic. I was just curious as to why the most awful H.S. bands were chosen to march.

Oh, and I don't know about you calling me out on my naps on GC. Not cool.

And I have to add: Andy DID applaud the Aggie Band, but I don't know about you standing. I don't remember that much.

I'd do anything - short of robbing a bank - to get my sorry ass down to Fiesta. Dull-ass STILL doesn't know how to party.
