No I haven't seen Ms. Levy....

The Congressman should have told the truth (about the relationship) the first time........

......My heart goes out to both families!!

September 11th happened. I was watching CBS news the other night, and they mentioned the Chandra Levy case, but all they said was that there was no new information.

Did Gary Condit really think he was going to win re-election?

I don't think he seriously did. He gave his concession speech outside of his home. WTF He didn't even have the nerve to rent a hotel...

New info...

Investigator's believe they have found her body:

CNN Article on Chandra Levy's being found

I feel so badly for her family. In a way I hope this is her so her family will have some closure but in a way I don't because I was hoping they would find her alive.

If Condit has anything to do with this....well God will take care of that issue.

4 miles from her residence?

It has been confirmed that the remains are those of Ms. Levy.

conspiracy

I can not believe in my m ind that it really took them a year to find Chandra Levy...C O N S P I R A C Y is written all over this case! This should bring about some closure with her family, though painful I'm sure! I can't believe it ended this way; especially when DC detectives/cops, and all law enforcement officials combed where she was found today all last summer. This is ridiculous...someone probably had her, killed her, and just planted the body...S T U P I D!

PS..did anyone see Oprah today!

I can't imagine what her family and friends must be thinking

I heard that her family was on there today saying that they still held out hope that she would be found alive. It's all so sad and tragic. I have to agree that someone planted her body. I watched the developments day by day when the disappearance news first broke. I remember them searching that park and surrounding areas up to the leaves in the trees. That was like the first place that they looked. Now, all of a sudden, they find her there. Can you say STRANGE?

Question Just walking the dog, huh?

Who was the mystery person that "found" the remains?

Unhappy

This is sad, but still very eery. Perhaps this will gives some peace to the family. But something tells me that this case will get more interesting as the investigation continues. I wonder, however, how far will they be able to get given the length of time that has elapsed, making an autopsy perhaps, near impossible. I know we have some legal sleuths in here who can help out.
