What it is is an opportunity for students to gain some professional experience in Journalism, but instead, it looks more like a high school newspaper.
I worked for the Indiana Daily Student which has won a lot of national awards. Its a solid, respected campus newspaper, that reports on campus, area and national news. The IDS even has a business section!
Medill is so highly regarded, I'm actually quite shocked.
Maybe all of the campus talent is working for the city papers.
I think it would have been cute if it were a little article, but not a major feature.
Surely SOMETHING more newsworthy happens at either of the two campuses.
