My chapter called our spring formal the Pearl Ball.

Our fall semiformal was just the fall semiformal.

My AZD chapter uses "Rose Formal" but I've heard some chapters call their dances "Pink Rose Formal"

Ours usually is just semi formal and formal. But this year since it'll be my last year to plan formal, I'm goin out with a bang. I think we might do a theme, and we're calling it "Pink Carnation Ball".

My DG chapter calls formal the "Golden Anchor Ball". Semi-formal is just Semi-Formal.

we always referred to ours at the Carnation Ball...i think many Phi Mu chapters do because i've seen examples of formal shirts that say it in greek tshirt magazines

We call our formal Anchor Ball. For our spring semi that we are having next month, we are calling it Spring Fling.

Our formal is called Emerald Ball, and our semi-formal/pledge preview is called KD Kisses.

We called ours just formal or spring formal though many chapters did use Sapphire Ball.

We name ours from time to time, it's usually Crescent Ball. Other chapters have done Carnation Ball, Pink Carnation Ball, Crescent Moon Ball, etc.

We call it Blue and Gold Ball ... but we always end up picking a theme that has nothing to do with that
