WLFEO,
That's how a lot of us meet each other here in NJ! One of my other advisors wore letters to her legacy's swim class and met another alumna. I was spotted wearing letters by my neighbor, an ADPi from Gettysburg. I spotted a Gamma Pi alumna in line at the bagel place; she's now in our AA.
It's a small, small world!

I was really shocked, especially because she wasn't from a local chapter (WVU, now closed). I always see someone I recognize at this hospital, but this was really cool!

As for alumnae meeting, the two who were the core of our former Alumnae Association met when they were next door neighbors, and the one was raking her leaves while wearing an ADPi sweatshirt!

Sorry Sweetheart I wasn't there tonight. I spoke with Mrs. Pittard and next week looks like a better week, assuming my schedule coordinates. Other wise, I should be helping with initiation and some ritual reviews during the semester. We had a great chat today!!

I promise to come see you at UNT!! PM me with your typical schedule. I should know mine tomorrow, hopefully. New job starts tomorrow!!!

PS: I didn't wear my pin today either. No real need to wear it while unpacking boxes, especially since I havne't unpacked the one it is in yet. BUT I did spend the day with a sister and her legacy.

Nah. right on schedule. I had to be out of my old place in Houston by the end of February. We had the new place lined up since the 18th of February. So it was right on time.

I love my new place. NOw, if I could just get all the boxes empty.

If I remember correctly, this year NPC Badge Day is March 7th (so a week from tomorrow) - I can't wait!

I'll be catching an early flight from Nashville next Monday, and while I normally travel in comfy clothes, I'm thinking of making the sacrifice and wearing pin attire - just to be able to wear the pin in the airports!

I have told everyone I have seen

I run a restaurant and today a couple came in and started talking to me about the restaruant and whatnot . . . anyway . .

I asked if the wife was in a sorority and she said she went to "STATE . . . Mississippi State" and was a ZTA. I told her about badge day tomarrow and she said she was a homemaker but she had never heard about it before. So, to make a long story short she is going to wear a zta shirt tomarrow.

thought it was neat so

HAVE A GREAT TIME MEETING NEW GLO's tomarrow.

loyally

connie

Okay, I'm on the tail end of the weekend from hell - which started with my ride to the airport coming early. I had two stacks of clothing; one for the Salvation Army, and one for this trip. Guess which pile I packed? Yep. I have been wearing the same $%^&* outfit all weekend!

BUT!! I remembered my pin!!! I'm not wearing jeans, could definitely wear "the outfit" to church, so I am most assuredly wearing my pin on my freshly rinsed out & ironed outfit!!

More about the weekend when I get home!
