Thanks for all the clarifications guys!!

Are there other sororities that are typically known as "exclusive"?

I've heard Delta Delta Delta is exclusive...is that right?

I think that it depends what university or college you find a chapter at to determine if it is "exclusive". I would hope that members of each house would believe that their particular chapter is exclusive to those who uphold and strive to represent the ideals of what their organization stands for.

There is a thread on here about "exclusive" sororities and fraternities. I'm not sure what page it's on, but it's somewhere.

And in reference to the question about being called Delta's. At my school we are called Delta's and TriDelta's, and TriDelt's. It just depends.

To my knowledge, all NPC and NPHC organizations are exclusive. Clubs are inclusive meaning anyone who is a student at the school can come and sign up. Exclusive means there are governing criteria such as grade point averages, credit hours, community service record, etc
