I love Rainbow Brite, esp. the sprites-- they're too cute! I love the Rainbow Brite movie with that evil girl who wants the diamond... anyone else see it? Haven't seen it in a really long time.

Now I have the Rainbow Brite song stuck in my head! Therefore, everyone else needs to, too.

Starlite-Rainbow Brite
A little wish in the moonlight
Sunbeams sparkle and shine
You'll always be a friend of mine (repeat)

I am just waiting for Dolly Pops, Glamour Gals and Dazzle Dolls to come back.

Ok, 80s kids, here's a harder one - does anyone remember Rose Petal??? She was one of the big toys where I lived back in the day, but I'm not sure if she was that widespread.

Why has no one mentioned CABBAGE PATCH KIDS!!! and GARBAGE PAIL KIDS!!!! Holy crap those things were everywhere!

And I would just like to say that I still own Rainbow Brite's house and She-ra's castle, and I shall never relinquish them! I just wish I still had my popple's tent, alas!

Rose Petal!!! I forgot about her. Now that I think about it, my sister has one of her books back home.

I had a couple of the Rose Petal Place dolls. (I'd forgotten about them too!) I always liked how they smelled.
