We all knew it was coming. With the return of other 80s cartoons it was only a matter of time before Rainbow Brite came back. Clothing can be found in stores like Gadzooks and Hot Topic. New toys have come out that will be available at Wal-mart, Target and Toy-R-Us to start.

Mom spent over a hundred bucks Halloween 1987 just so I could be Rainbow Brite. I still have that costume too.

I loved Rainbow Brite! I had her and her unicorn (can't remember the name) and Sprite. I also loved Strawberry Shortcake and the Care Bears and My Little Pony.

Now, if only they'd bring back She-ra...she was my favorite!!!

The horse is Starlite. I feel like a kid all over again with all this stuff coming out. It would be great to see She-ra again. She was my alter ego when I was younger. LOL.

OMG! I didn't know she was coming back but I saw Rainbow Brite and friends at Wal-Mart today! Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony, and Strawberry Shortcake take me back to my 3 college girls' early childhood. And now my younger girls can enjoy them! Time to drag out the old toys and videotapes....

Omg, I LOVED Rainbow Brite! I was so happy with the return of Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears, but Rainbow Brite was my favorite.

Anyone remember Punky Brewster? I'd love to see her return.

If any of you are planning on buying the stuff for yourself or a kid, DO NOT BUY THE CAKE PANS. I mean,they could have changed them since 1986 (my 4th bday party), but my mom followed the directions exactly, and Rainbow Brite's mouth still ran together with her face. Imagine the room when all the 4 yr olds at my party see a bloody Rainbow Brite who looks like she belongs to Fight Club, lol.

Awww I loved all these growing up and theyve brought back popples too! those were like my all time fav! Of course Punky Brewster was one of my favorite shows ever! lol and Im sure many of you know that the girl that plays Sabrina's roomate on the College episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch is the actress that played Punky Brewster. Shes so pretty now but looks so much the same!! lol

even though I spell mine a little different many of you should be able to tell that I too adore Rainbow Brite!!!!

I don't know how much my mom spent, but I was Rainbow Brite for Halloween when I was 4 (I think) and then wore the costume again when I had a Rainbow Brite birthday party, and I still have the costume somewhere, too :)

Actually, "Punky" looks less, lol. She had a breast reduction a couple/years ago. ;)
