Originally posted by devildog As a Marine I will see it through, but it's easy to say that because you have your letters, you are on the inside looking out I on the other hand am questioning what you said about blind emails and letters being sent. First of all as a prospective member interested in an org you go to their websight to get some basic info, read the mission statement and see if you fit in , if you are interested the web sight has a place that says membership, if you click on that it usually has an email where you put your basic info so someone can return your call. So this is what happened, are you telling me that I am not to rely on the email system that org's put in to place because they don't answer back in which they are inviting me to leave info in order to get info, if that is the case then I'm real skeptical about any org that runs bussiness like that. I equate it like this when someone was interested in the marines they could call, or send a post card and within a week they would get a call. If an org does not have time to do the email thing get off the web tip. So if your telling me the only way to join is to go to a social event, then no more phone's no more internet, no more mail, now im confused
See, I tried to be nice but you would not accept friendly and knowlegeable advice. Omega is fine without you as a member. We do not need you or your foul attitude. Omega is not a business. I met the Brothers and got to know them and them me. Looking on a webpage is but a superficial step in your interest. Judged by the quality of your "interest" and your pitful "search", look elsewhere. Humble yourself and follow sound advice, not your own whining.
I'm sorry, but after reading the thread here and on Omega Street, I am having a hard time believing that this is for real a 29 year old Black man and a Marine to boot.
And Starang, I picked up on your...
