Sheffield reportedly to accept 3-year deal with the Yankees

It seems like all sides want the ARod-Manny deal to happen, but the Rangers are asking the Sox to take a portion of Manny's contract. Pretty ridiculous as the Rangers would be saving some 80 million dollars over the next few years by trading A-Rod.

I think the deal is going to happen, although Texas asking for money will complicate things.
