Kentucky Holiday food

I had forgotten about Bourbon Balls. Oh, yum!

Cream candy sounds very much like Divinity. Yet, Divinity is not really "pulled;" it is whisked really strenuously in a bowl.

Cream candy sounds fabu. Carnation, I will ask my mother about the Boiled Custard recipe.

I tried the eggnog latte at Hastings. I LOVE Hastings drinks, but I detested the eggnog latte. Yuck!

I loooove:
-Pumpkin pie
-Christmas cookies
-Boiled custard (my mom makes the yummiest stuff ever!!!)
-Peppermint bark
-White chocolate covered pretzels with red and green M&M's in the middle!
-This bread that my mom makes that has nuts, lots of dried fruit in it, a ton of nutmeg and cinnamon and then it's all rolled up and it's got like a flaky consistency to it...SO good!
-My mom also makes this braided bread with a sweet cream cheese filling and cream cheese frosting in it and then puts sprinkles on top...YUM!!!

And pumpkin pie. Gotta love that. I make Impossible Pumpkin Pie that doesn't have crust, because I hate crust.

They were good last year. My sisters and I had one just about every day.

Real, homemade macaroni and cheese (so it's not a holiday food, per se, but it seems to show up quite a bit around here between November-January!)

My mom's sweet potato casserole

My MIL's popovers, sigh, so good

HOT BROWNS!!!!!!!!

FAB, that cream cheese bread your mom makes sounds yummy. Do you have the recipe?
