I'll take that bet - I actually was waiting to see cash or rudey's input
this has already been mentioned, but the view of "since you don't believe what I believe, you are stupid and don't have any sense"
and
my oh so favorite of the United States - "democracy is for EVERYONE, lets rid the world of dictators as we see fit!" why is that we ousted Saddam after YEARS of his tolatarian (sp?) rule, but we didn't lift a finger when (*his name escapes me at the moment*) whats his name in Africa - Uganda? commited mass genocide against hundreds of thousands - if not millions - of his own people in the late '70s early '80s? thats right, Uganda doesn't have oil.....

So we shouldn't have lifted a finger for both? You make no sense. Perhaps maybe one also had strategic importance to us. At the end of the day, Africa is just one losing continent and in 20-50 years most of the middle east will be as well.
And stop using my name in a group with others like cash and champ. It's getting annoying nurse girl.

I can't stand it when people say (about America), "If you don't like it, leave."

I couldn't agree more. The nation was built so that people could disagree with the government. That's why we have a Bill of Rights, including the First Amendment.
MereMere, do you mean Idi Amin? Thankfully, he's no longer with us.

He's been out of power since the Carter years. But you're right, he was a terrible guy.

yeah I knew he only was in power for a short time. He was one example, I could think of off hand, for scary men in power across the world in comparison to Saddam.

I don't like it when people tend to believe that if there are more people who believe what they do then it's automatically assumed to be the "right" thing to believe. SO annoying, and obviously not true at all! Many situations there just simply is no clear cut right and wrong and it's up to every person to decide for themselves. I just don't understand why some people can't see that?!?!

I can't stand when people want to get into other people's business when they don't know the whole situation-particularly pro-lifers and abortion or the right to die. It isn't your life so get the hell out of mine.

Yes! Or the view that your view is the ONLY existing view possible.

I can't stand it when people preach tolerance (especially for THEIR personal viewpoint) then spew a bunch of bigoted vitriol against people who disagree with them.
I REALLY can't stand it when some people are so vehement about their own opinion on an issue that they intimidate others who disagree into being silenced. It's worse when they don't realize how hateful they're being.
Most of all I hate it when some people think think that just because they like to vent their spleen on a message board, others should keep their "mouths closed" or "get the hell out of my life" or something else equally hateful.
I can't stand it when people bash Catholics or anyone who's pro life, or even politically conservative if they don't understand "the whole situation" behind their viewpoint.
Wow, that did feel good!

Or those that politicized everything. Also those that like to simply categorized everything. The world is more complicated the good and evil.

I hate when people believe EVERYTHING they hear and see on TV or read in the newspaper! I'll just leave it at that....
