Against All Odds- Phil Collins
I think there's a few others.
She nees to just quit trying to cover people's songs. It's not going to sound as good. Especially when you try to cover a CLASSIC like 'Against All Odds'.

Without You was done by Harry Nilsson in 1971.

I'm still pissed about that!
Anyone hear the Kid Rock cover of "I Feel Like Making Love" yet??
I'm still not sure my position on it...I like it...but I don't...

Would that be the album/CD where "Me And My Arrow" comes from? I've heard "Me and My Arrow," when I was listening heavily to oldies (this was years before Clear Channel homogenization of playlists, BTW.)

me and my arrow
taking the high road
I don't care, wherever I go
it's me and my arrow
I LOVE that song and never knew where it came from till Mr 33 (who is a few years older than me and was more cognizant at the time of The Point's release) told me.

I am listening to the Def Leppard version of "Bringing on the Heartbreak" right now and it still rocks over Mariah Carey's version!

She can sing and, more importantly, she is hot. If that gay tennis player would leave her alone, I'd pursue her.

I agree, she can sing. I saw her on Craig Kilborn last night and she sang pretty well.
And Rudey-- then when you marry her you can send me gifts too on her birthday, since she and I have the same one, April 10. Hehe

Lenny Kravitz covering American Woman (The Guess Who)......
He took a song commenting on US/Canadian relations during the Vietnam era and mass-marketed it (I also blame Mike Meyers for this too).

I'll take Mariah's version of "Bringin' on the Heartbreak" over the original anyday. The lead singer of Def Leppard likes it as well. He was telling the band's fans that they shouldn't hate on her for covering the song. Her video for "Bringin'" is great too. Mariah always does great covers. She's just an awesome singer. Also, Mandy's "Coverage" is a good album.

The only cool tennis player was Johnny Mac.
Andre Agassi tricked us into thinking he was cool when he married Brook Shields.
