So I've just herd a travesty . . .
in the form of Mariah Carey covering Def Leppard's classic Bringin' on the Heartbreak. She totally butchered it. Shame Mariah, shame.
|
i didnt know that it was a cover. interesting. i think it sounds all right. it should have never been released as a single. it doesnt sounds like the type of song that could make it that strongly on the charts.

I hope the drummer chokes the - oh, hell, never mind. :p

Mariah singing anything is a travesty. lol

C'mon now, guys. After Madonna redid American Pie, can ANY cover really sound all that bad?

I am all on the anti-Mariah train folks
BUT let's not put I'll Be There on that list. That was an actual good remake. |
I heard the Mariah Carey's cover of Def Leppard's "Bringin' on the Heartache' and it sucked. Give me the original version anyday (it sounds a million times better than hers)!
Sometimes a remake can sound cooler than the original, sometimes it can suck. http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmili.../pinkieone.gif |

I was so incredibly shocked the first time I heard it. Just wasn't right. |
My personal fav:
Britney's remake of Joan Jett's "I Love Rock n' Roll". My ears were bleeding. |
who the hell sat down one day and said, "hmm let's have Mariah sing a Def Leppard song..." An idiot. Mariah Carey is fat. And she sucks. Ans so does Dave Navaro.
|
what about Whitney's version of "I will Always Love You"
Dolly Parton musta been hanging her head in shame. Kitso KS 361 times that you need to rent "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" if you haven't seen it. |
