I have had good luck with Clinique mascaras. However I am now a big fan of Revlon's Colorstay Overtime Lash Tint. I have long lashes but they are light in color so the tint works well and doesn't go on too thick. I have to use eyemakeup remover to get it off, and it allegedly lasts for up to three days.
Don't wear waterproof mascera. It messes up your eyelashes. I"m in theatrical make up class for my major and the Prof. (that word sounds funny) said that.
I love love love Maybelline Volume Express mascara (it's in the grey/silverish tube.. although I hear the Maybelline Great Lash, which is in the pink/green tube is a miracle worker, but I havne't tried that one )!!! I have been using Volume Express since it first came out and refuse to use another one

So do I. Great Lash ROCKS. Also, Mary Kay makes an excellent but gentle waterproof mascara, but I can't remember the name of it. I'm sure any MK representative will be able to help.
