Mascara help!!!
 

OK GC ladies (and guys that are inclined...hee hee):

I am desperately searching for a waterproof mascara that doesn't suck. I've tried pretty much everything in the drugstore and none of them worked. So I'm going to go high end....but needless to say I'd like to know I'm not wasting my money. Any suggestions??

i swear by clinique ... gentle waterproof

the make up artist I used to work with swore by the cheap maybelling stuff.

I've been wearing Max Factor Aqualash forever, and I swear by it!! I've gone swimming with it on and everything!

I use Lancome.

My eyes continually water and it's never run!

Hey Sheila! I wish I could help, but I don't wear waterproof mascara. Try going to a site called www.makeupalley.com where they have zillions of product reviews. I'm sure you'll get some good ideas there.

Remember Marathon Mascara? It came in a bright green tube; I think Cover Girl made it. I could get through a fraternity party, a bar crawl, an afterhours party and the obligatory semi-nude sorority pillow fight and my lashes would not budge a millimeter! That stuff was not of this earth

I have to agree with Munchkin03...MAC rocks! Their ProLash is awesome and not that bad in price...I think like 11 dollars or something like that. That stuff stays on and a tube can lasts forever. At the counter they tell you to buy a new one every two-three months, but it lasts a lot longer that that before it gets all dry and clumpy.

Prescriptives makes a mascara called False Eyelashes. It's water-resistant (which is supposedly better for your eyes than waterproof, though I forget why), and it is hands down the best mascara I've ever tried.

this thread just reminded me i need to go buy a new mascara...mine is getting clumpy!!
