did anyone see the very end when he was dancing?
Looked like he might have been black at one time, just not anymore...

I saw the movie today. Maybe after reading the posts here I had a low expectation level, but I liked it. It was a simple, feelgood movie and that it what I needed.

I agree! Went with some friends and we took our kids along and everybody enjoyed it.
How 'bout Montel and the kane at the end??

Yeah, Montel was working the kane!!! I just had to smile. Cuba did break it down.
The movie was alright. I was bored a lot during the movie.
Also, question...how old is Lil Zane? Is that boy legal?

I still never saw it but it comes out on DVD on 2.3.04

I didn't get a chance to see the movie in the theater but I will rent it at the video store and watch it before I decide to add it to my DVD collection.

Me too. . .It felt like Sister Act 2 but with grown ups.

I borrowed the DVD from my sis in law and it was a pretty good movie! I think I will buy it for my DVD collection. Hubby was all when he saw Montel with the kane.

I didn't recognize Ann Nesby (Sounds of Blackness) with that wig. I knew the voice, but not the face. She sang at the beginning right before Shirley Caesar.
