I have to strongly DISagree with apologizing to him. I honestly do not belive that you did anything wrong. I'm picking up a bit of jealousy on his part and insecurity. Even thoughh you two are not together, it is obvious you have a relationship, in which he got mad over you hugging someone else even though your intentions were to come see him? In my opinion, that is very childish and close minded on his part. I respect you twice as much because you handled it like a woman. You told him he was OUT OF LINE for insulting you like that and adviced him not to do it again. Then you left. I believe it is up to him now to BE A MAN, and a respectful human being, not only to a WOMAN WHOM HE INSULTED, but to a child-hood friend, and apologize whether or not it leads to his true feelings being revealed.
