Help, Advice Anyone
 

I have been dealing with this young man ever sense I was 11. Through high school we got closer and now we are in college we are extremely close. I want a relationship with him but he hides that fact that he is scared of getting hurt. Its like he has a wall up against me. like I am some type of antibodie. Yesterday I was going over his house and when I got almost to his house my friend a boy name cogie call me and I went over their while the young man waited for me on the steps. When I got done talking to cogie for a minute I went over to the young man to give him a hug and he dissed me and said I was rude for coming to see him then go over to another guy. Well at first I did not look at it like that and If he would have did it to me I would have been mad because we are to close. I apologized and then he said I am easily persuaded and that I act like I don't have brains at times. I said what? He said you don't have brains sometimes. I got up and told him you only have one time to tell me that and I left. As soon as I hit the corner All my tears fell down and I cried and went to sleep. I was really hurt because I am extremely smart not just in books but common sense. I want to call him so bad but he was wrong for what he said and I say if he wants me then he will call no need to chase. What do you think?:confused:

well girlfriend you were wrong too for not thinking about his feelings in the first place. Call him and appologise and tell him that it was hurtful for him to tell you what he did even if he was mad. Dont let your EGO get the best of you. If he doesnt appologise to you---- he's not worth it. Trust if he can tell you that now and he's not your man, he wil tell you worse he he ever is

I know what you are saying is right and I do believe that I have pride at times. I have my stuck up ways what woman don't. Sometimes we have to have guard up because as soon as a man see you are trying to be nice it seems that they take advantage of you. But I guess I will call him. I had already Apologize in his face. But I known him sense I was 11 and we have been close so I will let a few days past ya know give myself a chance to clam down so I want say something I don't mean, then I will approach him respectfully.:rolleyes:

Sleepy, I think you're a victim of your own attitude. If you handle your relationships in the same manner you've handled your situations on this forum, then you've got the answers to your problems.

You can't jump into a new forum (or any situation for that matter )full of attitude and expect to be well recieved.

What attitude so I have besides people being so sensitive that they can't answer a question all they want to give is smack. Thats why you always here that saying if you can't say something nice then don't say it at all. People on her get offended by simple questions instead of answering them. If you don't like the thread why answer. I have not used bad language and I always apologize if I hurt someone feelings with my question so now you tell me what is the whoop de doo!:mad:

I hate when things like these happens. My advice to you is dont make remarks like the one above. If you are sorry just be sorry and dont try to start new arguments with anyone. When you ask things like you asked above you can't expect to be treated with respect. You just come off sounding like you have an attitude with the same people you want to help you. I dont expect members of this forum to dislike you forever but if you argue with people then hey wont - POW "dont bring any negativity in here".
