I just watched Columbus, OH's Red, White and Bicentennial Boom on my TV tonight. Will watch our town's fireworks either from my back deck or at the entrance of the neighborhood. I love watching fireworks from the comfort of my own home!

BOSTON
i will be in boston, too!!!! i went for the first time last year, and i loved it!!! (not that i never went to fireworks before, just never went downtown)
for those of you who will be near a tv, A&E has "Pops Goes the 4th" every year. I forget when it starts, but they show the Boston Pops concert and then the fireworks!
Too bad we didn't try to have a GC in Boston get together at the fireworks!!!!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Downtown Blaine Harbor...
Right near the Peace Arch
The International Peace Arch on the US-Canada border in Blaine, Washington
People waiting to cross the border into the US will get to check out the fireworks!

The concert is awesome, the only trouble with the 4th here in Boston is you have to get there super super early, because the Esplanade and Hatch Shell fills up early.
One good thing is that the Pops does a rehearsal show the day before...and you actually have a good chance of getting good seats for that one. Any guest singers usually come to the rehearsal, so you still get a good show.
Should be fun though - one of the best days to be in Boston (along with Marathon Monday).

From downtown Birmingham....going to watch the show done off Red Mountain. There are several fireworks shows tonight. I am in a 4th of July concert that directly precedes the fireworks so hopefully we'll have a good seat

Although I was pretty drunk...
The fireworks were awesome - not as good as last year, in my opinion, but still really good.
I had a great seat for it, on top of one of the BU buildings, so it was good to be above the crowd.
