I just went to BFD 2 weeks ago (it was ok) BFD aka Big F***in Day is a concert put on by a station in SF and they have like 17 bands there. I saw the Deftones, and I have been waiting to see them for like 2 years, and the Used were bad ass, not I have ot go to the Warpped Tour when it comes to SF. Also, a few of us are trying to find our way to the DMB concert when they come to the Shoreline in San Jose.

I am going to Red Hot and Boom in Orlando on July 3 to see Stacy Orrico, Lillix, VaughnRay, Stereofuse, and Jessica Simpson. Not all of them are well known more than having one single out, but oh well, free concert!

I'm seeing Tori Amos @ Merriwether Post Pavilion on 8/27. This is my second time seeing her live in the last year. I adore her *sigh*

I was going to go see Radiohead, but changed my mind.

If anyone knows if Sade is touring, tell me!

I wish Alanis would tour w/ Tori again.

ok, I can't hide it any longer...

I still like Hootie and the Blowfish. They're coming to Wolftrap and I want to see them really bad. Judge me as you see fit.

This is going to make me sound old but,I am totally going to see Kiss and Aerosmith if I can and I am also going to see Neil Young.I have seen Kiss and Aerosmith so if I can't get tickets,I can live because they are pricey, but I have never seen Neil Young and I am a huge fan.

That's when I saw her, 11/12 at GMU's Partiot Center....

What did you think of her opening act? I don't know if it was the same as yours. I had Howie Day. There was a group of hearing impaired concert-goers who had an interpreter during the show, signing the words. I watched her sign the words to his song, "Ghost", and I literally wept because I loved watching the emotion in the interpretor's face. I actually felt the emotions behind the words more intensely while watching her....

It was beautiful...I got the CD the next day.

Definately free tix here. My parents always get free tickets from the casino since they're big ballers. You go to the casino and there's a bus that takes you to the concert place. Fun thing-- I might be goin with my cuzin who is like 30-something. Woohoo!

Being from the DC/MD area....

OAR went to Wootton High School, our rivals hehe, we used to hear them play at the high school cook out things, they won the battle of the bands...there are a bunch of bands from the Maryland area as a matter of fact. Tori Amos went to Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, OAR went to Wootton, all MoCo'ers like me Hootie and the Blowfish is from Bethesda and Good Charlotte's from Waldorf...in terms of concerts, We'll see who else comes around, I'm in Knoxville, Tennessee and so far I've seen Third Eye Blind and Daniel Beddingfield, Jason Mraz and Maroon 5 (they opened for John Mayer on last years tour) and I also went to this awesome country music festival @ Neyland stadium in early June...Kenny Chesney, Deana Carter, Rascall Flatts, Brooks and Dunn and Keith Urban played!! (Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker made guest appearances too!!) Hope everyone has an amazing summer of concerts!!

The Dropkick Murphys, Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies, The Used, Bowling for Soup, Simple Plan, AFI, Brand New, Rancid, Taking Back Sunday (see? I knew I had heard the name, damasa!), Vendetta Red, ... among SO MANY OTHERS!)

Everclear was here for Riverbend and I thought they were just OK, I have seen them live a few times and their show was a lackluster.

Actually it's O.A.R, with the periods and all. Stands for "Of a Revolution" its a band started in 1998 at Ohio State. They're pretty popular with the college crowd.
