Somebody else said they saw Mallory wearing a shirt with a Phi on it, but they didn't catch any of the other letters . . . so you could be right.

Actually, now that I've done some research, I realized that Mallory goes to ISU which doesn't even have an Alpha Phi chapter . . . so she's not an Alpha Phi.

HAHA thanks, then maybe the shirt was green
I would have gone on thinking that she was, are there any other GLO's there with similar letters?

Phi Beta Chi (a Christian sorority), Pi Beta Phi (Iowa Gamma), and Gamma Phi Beta are the female "Phi" GLOs on the show.

She wasn't listed on the PBX site or the Pi Phi site. The Gamma Phi chapter there (Omega) hasn't updated their site in about 4 years. It could also be a fraternity shirt.

Oh no no no, I wasn't saying Leah couldn't have been in a sorority, I was saying Mallory talks about how much times she spins playing soccer, so I don't think she could have had time.

Back to the discussion about Ace representing KA, I would imagine that it would be hard to put your best foot forward ALL THE TIME, especially being in a foreign country, with strangers for roommates, and having cameras shoved in your face all the time. I know I couldn't do it.

Ace is awesome- I don't think he has been too bad. He is fun though.

I wish we had nice KA's at my school, but they kinda keep to themselves. My ex boyfriend is a KA though at Western Carolina and his chapter seems super cool.

I heard that too, and would be interested to know which org. he belongs to.

Anyone? Buehler? Buehler?

I think Ace represents Georgia well. I keep thinking that if I were on Real World I'd probably get along with him really well because he's a lot like all of the guys that I know back home... southern style! And I think he's pretty stereotypical KA, too... at least what my stereotype is of them. Southern in every way!

There's a HUGE difference in adjusting to a new country and just being rude about it. When I moved to a foreign country, for about the same amount of time, with strangers as roommates, and I didn't act anywhere near the way Ace did. The words that he uttered seemed to be peculiar to him--not his roommates or the vast majority of Americans who WILLINGLY move abroad. My criticism of him had nothing to do with his drinking (he's over 21), or anything like that--simply his rudeness and unwillingness to settle into a foreign environment. The RW folks in London experienced culture shock, to be sure--remember Mike and the Ranch dressing?--but they were not the stereotypical "Ugly American." His insularity is what turned me off.

No offense, but did you even watch the end of that episode? His attitude did a complete 360 and he admitted he was just being ignorant by hating the culture only because he didn't know about it.

Yea he was a jerk, but it takes an even bigger person to make it known to everyone that he was wrong - which makes me think even more highly of him. Everyone is wrong in what they believe sometimes - but no many of us can admit to it.

good call. I thought it was really big of Ace to basically apologize at the end of the show. I didn't see last weeks episode (vacation) but I saw some people saying in earlier posts that maybe he went traveling around the city and realized it was really beautiful and said he wouldn't ever saying anything bad about it again. I like Ace a lot.

Also, I heard that line from David on Road Rules too. I thought maybe I 'd missed his letters on a shirt somewhere in an earlier episode. i'm not looking dor it though. Don't the Road Rules people have bios on MTV? It should be there.

I didn't get to see another letter, but it lookes jus tlike a sweatshirt that I got frm. Sorority Specialities. But then again my boyfriend said that the shirt was green, so I could be wrong.
I think that was the same Vail sweatshirt that she was wearing in the episode where she and Simon are sick.
