oops

sorry about the caps lock, didnt mean to but i was lazy and didnt feel like changing it. no attacks on my part but im sorry if it came off that way. I just feel that i am right in my opinions, and can back them up. just understand that my points are given to help other chapters and not to make anyone look stupid or ignorant.
thank you
TKE

Fraters,

This shows that the TKE is truly a organization of differences and it is almost especally evident in the fact the my chapter the Omicron Sigma chapter and the tke368's chapter Omicron Tau have 2 completly different standards even though we were founded so close together now I will agree that athletics are something that really grows the brotherhood but when TKE was founded we were founded on the elements that we werent going to be like anyone else in the greek world its our spirit that guides us and allows us to be so different. So I wish to my fraters another best fraternity award because I am sure you deserved it and I hope you rush the most brilliant, athletic, talented young men in college history.

As Always

Yours in the Bond,
James Metcalf III

I agree that sports can be an excellent rush tool as well as a good catalyst for brotherhood. My chapter (Beta Rho) plays flag football like it is our job, we took second place at the tournement at ohio state and defeated the number 4 team in the nation and we are now entered in the national championship of flag football in New Orleans.

Sports are also a way to be known on campus, we have a guy in our chapter who plays football for the University of Akron and it makes for excellent publicity and helps make us tighter with the University.

That all aside, sports help make a good chapter at my school, but maybe not for some other schools.
